Dick Borsboom
President, Avnet Technology Solutions, EMEA

Dick Borsboom, born in 1959, was appointed President of Avnet Technology Solutions, EMEA, in April 2007. In this position is responsible for the strategic focus and growth of Avnet's computing business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Borsboom brings to the company his long-standing experience of the multinational distribution and services industry. He has a solid background in business management, finance, HR and IT, thanks to previous positions in these fields. As Chief Financial Officer and Vice President Finance, HR and IT at Flexsys Coordination Centre N.V. in Belgium, Dick Borsboom guided the company to double-digit profit growth.
