General Environmental Information

Avnet Technology Solutions is a distributor and not the manufacturer of the distributed products and services. Predominantly the manufacturer of the products are obligated to fulfill and compliance with the different environmental directives. Depending on the specific situation in the countries, Avnet Technology Solutions may provide this service at a European level. Avnet Technology Solutions will use best efforts to be compliant and fulfill its mandatory obligations.

Please understand that as a distributor, we are unable to confirm what substances are in the electric and electronic equipment we are distributing. The manufacturer can declare and give any binding confirmation in respect of the compliance to the RoHS- and REACh-Directives. Please find more detail information on the manufacturer websites. We will gladly assist in helping to collect the necessary information from the manufacturer.

Please note that the products we supply you with, may have been added to the market before they are actually shipped to you. Therefore you might receive products with a label that shows a later date. Environmental responsibility is a concern we take highly seriously at Avnet Technology Solutions. For that reason we have implemented a global environmental council and a global environmental policy. Our warehouses in Tongeren (Belgium) and Hams Hall (UK) are ISO 14001 certified.
