The Check Point Specialist - IPS-1 course provides an introduction to the basic concepts and skills necessary to configure and manage Check Point IPS-1. During this course, students will install and configure IPS-1, and learn about managing IPS-1 to monitor network-intrusion alerts.
Doelstellingen:This training prepares the student for the Check Point Certified Specialist – IPS-1 exam.
Doelgroep:You are a systems administrator, security manager, or network engineer who manages IPS-1 deployments and want to earn the Check Point Certified Specialist - IPS-1 certification.
Voorkennis:Working knowledge of TCP/IP, Windows and/UNIX, network technology, and the Internet.

- Configure IPS-1 Sensors and IPS-1 Power Sensors for optimum network protection
- Identify and manage IPS-1 packages, back-ends, and policies
- Generate IPS-1 alert reports and subreports
