Avnet Signs Pan-European Distribution Agreement with Foxconn

Avnet Technology Solutions, the solutions distribution leader and an operating group of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), announced today that it has entered into a pan-European agreement with Foxconn. The agreement enables Avnet to distribute Foxconn’s AMD- and Intel-based motherboards and Barebone chassis components to its extensive group of channel partners, including system developers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) throughout Europe. The new relationship expands Avnet’s ability to provide its partners with components instrumental in developing desktop gaming solutions and small form factor computing devices, such as nettops, for enterprise applications.

The expansion of our line card to include Foxconn’s motherboards and Barebone chassis components will help us further meet the unique needs of OEMs and system developers in EMEA.
