Avnet pre-sales consultants can help by:
- Working with partners and their end-user customers to scope requirements and produce a full solution specification
- Recommending and positioning vendor solutions and their associated options and benefits
- Providing advice on the preparation and evaluation of ITT processes
- Designing and preparing solution schematics
- Authoring proposals in conjunction with the partner
- Liaising with vendors to broker the best deal for the partner and end-user
- Providing product and solution training to partner sales and pre-sales teams
- Technically qualifying opportunities on behalf of partners.
The Pre-Sales team understands the broader business issues driving IT infrastructure procurement, and can help partners to fully specify a solution to meet the customers’ business and technology requirements.
Account Support
Internally based and highly accredited with a number of vendor and product specialisations, the Account Support team offer a technical point of contact to Avnet resellers. The team provide:
- Accurate quotations
- Technically vetted configurations
- Response to technical queries
- Understanding of the customer need in order to win tenders
- Liaison with key vendor contacts to ensure vendor support
- Conference calls with end user / partner / vendor
- Insight to up-sell the benefits of support, management software and qualified installation
- Technical vetting of customer supplied kit lists to ensure that actual requirements are met
- Partner training and product updates.
