Avnet have always fostered relationships between Business Partners from differing Vendor communities e.g. informally introducing partners working in different environments, such as Hardware and Software, whenever necessary. This is now being formalized into a programme called PartneRing that, rather than wait for a need to arise, will pro-actively work with partners to identify end-user or business needs and then address them with joint solutions.
Leveraging the breadth of Avnet's vendor relationships, PartneRing brings together Business Partners from different vendor communities; enabling them to work together on joint solutions that address all of an end-users needs rather than just one small piece. Operating under a framework agreement, each PartneRing is a collective of independent organisations that when formed will:
- Unite partners from different vendor channels
- Deliver unified solutions on cross-vendor value propositions
- Increase partner value to both vendor and end-users
- Utilise core skills, reducing expensive recruitment or cross-training requirements
- Leverage combined routes to market
- Reduce time to close business
