Avnet Technology Solutions named as first Authorised Independent Training Provider for IBM Systems in the UK

Avnet to provide “one stop shop” training for IBM hardware

Bracknell, UK, 2 May 2008: Avnet Technology Solutions Ltd has been appointed the first Authorised Independent Training Provider (AITP) for IBM systems in the UK. Avnet will provide IBM authorised training for System i, System p and System x, in THE [resource] centre at its Bracknell, Berkshire location. 

Avnet was selected to become the first AITP in the UK because of its modern facilities, proven expertise in training delivery and extensive hands-on experience with IBM Systems. The Value Added Distributor (VAD) will use IBM authorised training materials to deliver courses to business partners to accreditation level.

Courses are currently available on both a regular basis and for specific training requirements, in THE [resource]- Avnet’s training facility in Bracknell.
