AudioCodes Appoints Avnet Technology Solutions’ Unified Communications Division to Develop their UK Channel

Avnet Technology Solutions, EMEA, announced today that Horizon Solutions, its unified communications division, has been appointed as a Channel Development Provider for AudioCodes. Avnet Technology Solutions is an operating group of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), a global technology distributor.

AudioCodes enables internet protocol (IP) based voice infrastructure by providing innovative, reliable and cost-effective voice over IP technology (VoIP)  and voice network products including media gateway, server and processing technologies. AudioCodes is a market leader in this field.

As the unified communications division of Avnet, Horizon Solutions specialises in creating markets for vendors and provides unique integration support for the growing unified communications (UC) technologies channel. This division focuses on working with IP based communications networks that integrate VoIP and video over IP with data networks to create robust and more efficient business communication tools.

AudioCodes is an important value-add solution to Avnet's collaborative UC solution portfolio, enabling resellers to integrate disparate islands of IP communications technologies into a cohesive unified communications solution. This technology has been previously unavailable to Avnet's Business Partners and represents an incremental revenue opportunity for the channel.
