Avnet Technology Solutions and Aruba Networks Sign Distribution Agreement for United Kingdom

Avnet Technology Solutions, the value-added IT distributor and an operating group of Avnet, Inc. (AVT:NYSE) has signed a distribution agreement in the UK with Aruba Networks Inc., a global leader in wireless LANs and security mobility solutions. Under the agreement, Avnet will distribute Aruba's entire portfolio of products including high performance controllers, wireless LAN access points, wireless intrusion detection and protection products, AirWave Management Suite^TM and endpoint compliance technology.

As a result of the new agreement, Avnet business partners will benefit from access to Aruba's adaptive 802.11n wireless technology and identity-based security products to enable them to provide solutions for increased mobility to their customers, without compromising network security or increasing IT overhead. Avnet will provide a complete package of services including joint marketing activity, consultancy, audits, implementation services and support services to help business partners build new incremental revenue streams and access new markets.
