Good things come in three’s as Avnet Technology Solutions collects three Nortel awards in three weeks and one for the third time

Avnet Technology Solutions UK, a part of Avnet Inc, the global value-added distributor of enterprise-computing products, software and services has received the coveted title of Nortel Distribution Partner of the Year 2008 for the third time.  This is in addition to awards received by Avnet individuals last month for sales and technical competence.

The Distribution Partner of the Year award recognised Avnet Technology Solutions (Avnet) not only for delivering the largest contribution to Nortel distribution sales but also for it's entrepreneurship in terms of investment and shared risk.  Over the last 12 months Avnet's commitment and loyalty has never waived as it has continued to invest in its Nortel business and drive success through results.

Laura Harman, Business Unit Director, Avnet Technology Solutions said, "I'm honoured to accept this award on behalf of the Avnet team. Further recognition was bestowed upon Avnet by Nortel last month at the Nortel PartnerFocus event where Helen Van Nuil, Sales Manager, Avnet Technology Solutions received Best Distributor Salesperson and Tim Williams, Nortel Solutions Architect, Avnet Technology Solutions received Best Channel Sales Engineer.
