Avnet Technology Solutions Receives HP Software Partner of the Year Innovation Award

Avnet Technology Solutions, the solutions distribution leader and an operating group of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), today announced that it has been recognised as HP Software Partner of the Year for Innovation (UK & Ireland).  The award was presented during HP Software Universe in Barcelona. The achievement acknowledges Avnet’s exceptional service levels and reflects the company’s innovation of new leading edge solutions for its software channel. 

The award honours partners who have made an outstanding contribution in 2010, such as developing innovative solutions to meet individual customer needs or helping to generate significant incremental revenue for joint success. The award is an example of HP’s continued efforts to identify major project breakthroughs and jointly develop innovative solutions that meet customer requirements.  Award winners are determined through an established criteria that includes a review of all partner submissions based on delivery and revenue success.
