Avnet Technology Solutions Significantly Strengthens Services Capability in the UK Through the Asset Acquisition of Mattelli, a Specialist in IT Estate Management

Avnet Technology Solutions, the global IT solutions distribution leader and an operating group of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT) announced today that its UK operation has expanded its services capabilities through the acquisition of the assets of Mattelli Ltd, a specialist in IT estate management.  The UNITY platform developed by  Mattelli enables organisations to effectively manage their IT hardware and software assets and solve common challenges such as software compliance, contract management, renewals management, cost allocation and tracking, budget forecasting and tracking, and tendering.

The Mattelli estate management solution is underpinned by sophisticated software that integrates innovative technology from strategic partnerships.  The solution automates the highly complex process of gathering a company’s hardware and software estate and is able to cross reference this information against contractual agreements.
