Sukh Rayat

Avnet Technology Solutions, EMEA

Sukh Rayat is responsible for the sales performance of Avnet Technology Solutions in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) during which time he has been instrumental in directing Avnet towards a solutions selling model.

Before assuming his current role in July 2007, he was responsible for the financial performance of Avnet Computing Components and Avnet Applied Computing Solutions in EMEA. His achievements included leading the embedded solutions business into profit and receiving the 2007 Avnet Employee Commitment Index (ECI) Award for Employee Engagement.

From January 2001 to August 2005 he was serving Avnet as the Vice President of Avnet Computing Components, Europe. He profitably integrated the former Raab Karcher storage business in the Avnet Computer Components portfolio in 2003. As Vice President, Avnet Computing Components, Northern Europe from 2000 to 2001, Rayat received the 2001 Avnet Chairman’s Award for re-engineering the microprocessor business.

Rayat holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honors from Kingston University (UK). Rayat is also a Chartered Engineer in the UK Institution of Electrical Engineers
