ImageCare Maintenance
Document management is often part of a mission critical business process. ImageCare provides a one-stop point of contact for the maintenance contract, the terms, the call-centre and all the responsibility for all the document capture products on-site.
How does it work?

- Contract administration and management of the renewal service

ImageCare Disaster Recovery
Standard maintenance contracts are designed to minimise the impact of an occasional malfunction/failure of both hardware and software. Damage or loss, caused by unexpected hazards such as fire, smoke, water, collisions, explosions, theft, lightening or malicious damage, are outside the cover offered by standard maintenance contracts. Under the Disaster Recovery contracts, Avnet will arrange for a next-day installation at the client's premises or at another facility. This service is intended to allow critical applications to continue while longer-term solutions are organised.
ImageCare Disaster Recovery includes:

- On-site installation
- Assistance with System and Data Recovery
- Continuity of on-site maintenance
- Options to extend equipment loan

ImageCare Rentals
For those situations where a product solution is not necessarily a permanent requirement, such as back-file conversion, software development projects, seasonal demands and one time projects, ImageCare™ Rental packages can give you maximum flexibility.
The rental period can last as from 2 weeks to an unlimited period. This enables you to undertake major projects at your own pace without making a sizeable investment. ImageCare Rental packages include:
- Delivery, installation, de-install and return shipment costs
- Next day on-site maintenance (mainland UK)
- No refurbishment charges
- Interface cards and cables
- Technical support hotline 9:00 - 17:00. Free of Charge
- Option to buy at a competitive price during or after the rental period
ImageCare Training
Many document imaging systems fail, not because of the equipment but because initial operator training has not been implemented. Avnet is able to offer operator and "first" time support training modules. Training can be carried out at Avnet's purpose-built training facilities (THE [resource]), where use of the fully equipped demonstration facilities may also be utilised. If best suited, training can also be delivered on site, using your own equipment and systems.
Training can vary depending on the level of training required and can be tailored to match your requirements exactly - whether that involves basic scanner maintenance through to advanced forms design or simply generic training on the subject of data capture.
