The enhanced Symantec Partner Programme has been in force since 3rd November 2011 and there are a number of new Specialisation-related requirements at each membership level. Visit the Avnet website to find out more +

If you are not meeting the requirements for your current level, you will already have received 90 days' notice and given until 2nd February 2012 before any partner membership changes take effect. Make sure you continue to close and claim Opportunity Registration rebates on any opportunities registered and Symantec-approved prior to 3rd November. New opportunities can only be registered by partners who have achieved Specialist status. You can still meet the requirements and upgrade before or after the 2nd February 90-day deadline.

Specialisation not for you?

You may not be ready for solution Specialisation, but what about becoming an SMB Silver partner? This new partner level gives top performing SMB Specialists access to Opportunity Registration and the potential to earn up to 8% rebate when you identify, develop and close eligible sales opportunities on qualifying products2. In the enhanced Partner Program, SMB Specialists can also earn up to 20% upfront margin on qualifying deals registered on the Margin Builder Tool3.
