Microsoft OEM distribution changes notification

Avnet Technology Solutions will cease to distribute Microsoft OEM products on 28 February 2012. Avnet is dedicated to providing all Open licensing programs and Full Packaged Product/PKCs for Microsoft, so there will be no changes on these products.
As Avnet is a key distributor of HP and IBM, all versions of HP/IBM branded OEM (ROK) will be available for sale. You will be able to continue to order these products in the same way as today. Avnet will guarantee to deliver all Microsoft OEM orders in our systems as of 28 February 2012. Any back-to-back orders which have been placed will be shipped as soon as stock arrives.
Any existing OEM orders on backlog will be cancelled on 12 March 2012. OEM return requests will not be accepted in eRMA after 28 February 2012. This includes damaged or defective products. All OEM returns must be received in our warehouse by March 15, 2012.
Invoice and delivery queries can be answered through your account manager as usual. Your Avnet account manager should be available to you to assist during this transition. As always, Avnet continues to be committed to providing outstanding levels of service and value to your organisation.
