Technical StaffThe objective of this course is to give a good understanding of the iSCSI protocol and its application. It compares and contrasts iSCSI with both Fibre Channel and NAS protocols. The options for deploying the iSCSI protocol are explained. Native iSCSI SANs are discussed, as are the options for connecting into existing Fibre Channel SANs.The iSCSI protocol is discussed at a high level covering addressing, session management, login phases and error handling. Security Issues are examined.
