Avnet Technology Solutions is excited to announce the launch of its unique Data Seed Programme.

This Avnet-only offering has been designed to give you, our Avaya Business Partners, the opportunity to utilise Avnet’s technical experts to introduce new Data prospects to the market leading technology behind the Ethernet Routing Switch range.

With this Programme, Avnet will supply, install and demonstrate a top of the range Ethernet Routing Switch 4548GT-PWR switch onto a customer site. The Avnet team discuss priorities and key business drivers at the start of the programme in order to benchmark the results against a set of criteria tailoring the solution to meet specific customer goals. The team make sure the customer understands all the features of this switching range and how they work so they can achieve the best results for their business.

Once installed, the customer will then be able to trial the unit for a period of time in their own environment. At the end of this trial period, a member of Avnet Technical staff will revisit the customer to ensure the solution has met the criteria set and discuss the next steps.

This opportunity has been designed to enable Business Partners to effectively evaluate the Avaya Data products and to understand the ease by which they can adopt the products into their customers’ networks and the benefits they will gain for their business.

This proposition may also be followed by bespoke hands-on training courses provided by Avnet, which will focus on a deeper level of technical knowledge enabling support and installation personnel to effectively convert their skills to Avaya skills.

About the Ethernet Routing Switch 4548GT-PWR

A flexible, high-density, convergence-centric variation of the 4548GT, this switch is ideal for typical enterprise wiring closet deployments where there is a full convergence requirement. It offers 48 ports of 10/100/1000 with 802.3af Power-over-Ethernet, including four combo Gigabit Ethernet ports. The extended capabilities of the 4500 family includes the support for both Static and Dynamic (OSPF) Layer 3 Routing, Enterprise Quality of Service, Failsafe Stacking and Avaya Energy Saving policies.
