5 steps towards achieving Preferred Partner status:
1. To apply for entry into the Preferred Partner Program partners are required to meet sales hardware revenue of $200K ($160k for Ireland) (net value) per annum from UK HP authorised distributors for the previous full 12 calendar month period.
2. You would need to complete the "ASP - Partner Fundamentals Training". This is a web based exam.
3. There is a requirement to achieve and maintain at least 1 Accredited Sales Professional Certification or 1 Accredited Pre-sales Professional Certification (or higher level). HP recommends the following certification for Partners that are new to the HP Certified Professional Program: Commercial SMB Solutions Sales Professional or Commercial Solutions Presales Professional. Sales exams can typically be taken over the internet; whilst Presales (technical) exams will normally require a visit to a secured Prometric exam centre.
4. In order to become a Preferred Partner; we ask that you complete and return a Service Sales and Partnership (SSP) Agreement to HP.
5. All HP Partners need to complete the HP Partner Compliance Program.
