Training and Education
At Avnet we work closely in partnership with IBM and selected Business Partners to provide Informix training and education solutions to our ISV customers and via them to their end users if required.
Avnet works with IBM to help our customers identify their training requirements and then find the ideal way for IBM to deliver it. There are numerous training paths available from IBM specifically aimed at providing the skills or certifications you require. These include:

An alternative to classroom based training is available from IBM through the Self Paced Virtual Class (SPVC) modules which are also available for Information Management brand products, including Informix. Our training Business Partners can provide classroom training at your premises, delivered by Informix Certified Professionals; or you can take advantage of Avnet’s facilities throughout the UK. Based on demand, these Informix courses can generally be run at a time suitable for you and which allows you to build a training schedule as flexible as your business requires.
