Every Star Partner gets access to a dedicated, named Avnet Account Manager, as well as a Microsoft Technical Specialist and Sales Specialist; helping to ensure you get the most out of every sales opportunity. Avnet also offers comprehensive pre-sales support and face to face meetings every quarter with one of our dedicated business development team to develop a plan specifically for you. Our Business Development Team is on hand throughout the sales cycle to ensure you achieve the objectives of this plan and create as many sales opportunities as possible.
- Priority access to regular sales training events
Covering licensing basics, new technologies and all areas of the Microsoft stack, our regular sales training has a lot to offer. As a Star Partner you get priority access to these informative events over and above other competitors.
- Priority access to technical training courses
Helping you close more Microsoft sales, Star Partners get dedicated access to both product and technical courses. Our technical courses involve practical training, including the design, build and configuration of your physical infrastructure into a flexible Microsoft Dynamic Datacenter. Our ‘Deep-dive’ courses cover everything from project planning and TCO/ROI calculation, to scripting and data protection of Microsoft virtual environments.
- Priority access to the Partner Services team
As well as access to our Partner Services team’s expertise, Star Partners can attend the regular events run by the team, including hands on lab courses. These physical installs cover a range of new technologies and take place at the exclusive Demo Centre. Star Partners also get use of the Avnet guided installation service, which is an onsite service at your customer site that allows you to guide them through the installation process.

Helping you to identify new opportunities and increase your revenue, Avnet delivers dedicated and bespoke newsletters to all Star Partners; with details of specific promotions, activities and events that may be of interest to you.
