Here is your chance to win a brand new Mini Cooper from the "Avnet Oracle Mini Adventure." Avnet Technology Solutions (Avnet) and Oracle will award each Business Partner sales person an entry to the prize draw for each qualifying registered £10,000 worth of license sales between 1 April 2009 and 31 May 2009. Each entry will have an equal chance to win a brand new Mini Cooper or £13,715 cash equivalent (please see full rules below *).
The rules *
Any Oracle Technology deal which is registered (with both Avnet and on Oracle OMM) and is closed & placed with Oracle, having been transacted through Avnet by a Business Partner sales person prior to midnight on 31st May 2009 will be eligible to count towards the promotion. Orders must be issued with a confirmed Oracle Customer Support Identifier (CSI) to qualify.
In order to allow time for processing orders will only be accepted by Avnet as eligible for this promotion up until 2.00 pm on Friday 29 May 2009 after which they will not be eligible. However, Avnet will continue to accept orders on the 29 May 2009 following this deadline as normal, but these orders will not qualify for this promotion.
An entry to the prize draw will be awarded for each qualifying £10,000 of license sales (net to Avnet), eg: If a deal has a value of £30,000 net to Avnet 3 entries will be awarded (3 equal chances to win the prize).
Individual orders must be of greater value than £10,000 net to Avnet in order to qualify.
1 year term licenses will not qualify and cannot be included in this promotion.
Opportunities already registered on Oracle OMM prior to 1 April will qualify, but they must also be registered with Avnet in order to be entered into the prize draw.
The Mini Cooper will be awarded in line with the rules of the promotion set out below, or the winner may deem to accept a cash alternative of £13,715.
Acceptance of the Mini Cooper or cash alternative may be deemed as a "taxable benefit" and therefore any tax liability arising will be the sole liability of the recipient. The prize is also offered on the understanding that the recipient's employer has given permission for the recipient to receive it, and Avnet will reimburse any Employer National Insurance contribution liability which the recipient's employer may incur in connection with this promotion.
In the event of any dispute in connection with this incentive the organisers' decision is final.
