Backup Exec Archive Options provide unified backup and archiving for File Server and Exchange Mailboxes environments by uniquely archiving data from the backup copy rather than separately pulling data from the source.
These Archive Options will provide administrators with the ability reduce redundant data from the Exchange or Files server source to free up storage space. Overall it will provide efficient data indexing and allow administrators to set retention periods to efficiently manage data lifecycles. Exec’s Agent for Enterprise Vault now supports Backup, Recovery, and Migration for EV 10 installations. This is included at no charge for existing customers of the EV Agent.
Backup Exec Archive Option for Exchange now includes Virtual Vault, an Outlook Add-In that allows end-users to access Archived emails directly from within their Outlook application. This is included at no charge for existing customers of the Backup Exec Archive Option for Exchange:
