Symantec™ Network Access Control Mobile Edition 6.0
Symantec™ Network Access Control Mobile Edition (SNACME) works with Symantec Endpoint Protection Mobile Edition to enforce compliancy with security policies to ensure that only secure, policy-compliant devices can access the network and email on Microsoft® Exchange. The administrator is able to define a series of security checks on the device to be enforced. SNACME notifies the administrator of non-policy compliant devices that fail any of the security checks. SNACME also provides over-the-air centralised management and reporting via the Symantec Management Platform. SNACME is integrated with Symantec LiveUpdate™ to ensure timely updates of software. SNACME supports Windows Mobile and Symbian smartphones.

Network Access Control Security
Symantec Network Access Control Mobile Edition (SNACME) works with Symantec Endpoint Protection Mobile Edition to enforce compliancy with security policies and ensures that only secure, policy-compliant devices can access the network and email on Microsoft Exchange. SNACME notifies the administrator of non-secure, non-policy compliant devices that fail any of the host integrity checks. It also prevents access to the network and corporate email if any of the host integrity checks fail.
Centralised, Over-the-Air Management - This new release provides over-the-air centralised enterprise management and reporting functions of the products (for both Windows Mobile and Symbian) via the Symantec Management Platform.
Integration with the Symantec Mobile Management solution -This new release of the mobile security products integrate with the new Symantec Mobile Management solution. This enables our customers to secure and manage their mobile devices in an integrated fashion.
