Scalable Disaster Recovery with Automatic Image Replication
- The ability to automatically manage the replication of a deduplicated backup image from one NetBackup master server domain to another.

Marketing Description
Symantec NetBackup™ RealTime provides continuous data protection (CDP) and replication for critical applications by allowing administrators to recover to the latest second or any-point-in-time. Because RealTime protects every write as it happens, backup windows can be eliminated.
Administrators can extend their backup data beyond just protection by being able to use virtualised disk volumes from RealTime called TimeImages to facilitate things such as other off-host backup, test and development, e-discovery, application upgrade testing or anything that may require copies of production for a temporary time.
For disaster recovery, RealTime provides replication to a remote location with failover/failback capability.
